President, Eric Johansson
Eric Johansson started his remodeling career in 1998. While working for a remediation and restoration company he noticed how owners did not seem to treat their customers with the attention and respect he felt they deserved. That’s when Eric decided to go out on his own and create a better company. For the next 6 years he worked independently in both commercial and residential construction and refined his ability to meet and exceed his customer’s expectations. In 2005 he formed Retro Pro as the culmination of all he had learned and accomplished. Eric is not only a skilled craftsman himself, but is also an accomplished business owner who knows what it takes to run a successful remodeling company.
Designer, Angela Foreman
Angela majored in Visual Communications at Brigham Young University and is an award winning design professional with extensive experience. She came to Retro Pro with a design background in the model home industry, having the privilege to have worked with several home builders in Arizona, out of state home builders, and personal residences. A specialist in material selection, spatial design, and colorizing along with her vibrant personality, Angela balances these skills with a focus on excellent client service. She has a passion for art, design, movies, travel and staying current with the industry trends which contribute to helping our Retro Pro clients visualize their needs and dreams for their homes.
Production Manager, Steve Miller
As Production Manager Steve leads our team of Project Managers and Field Personnel and applies extensive knowledge and hands-on experience gained with a lifetime of experience. Steve has been working in the Remodeling industry since 1985. He started his own Remodeling Business in Seattle Washington in 1999 doing Residential Remodeling until he moved to Arizona to work in high end Kitchen and Bath Remodeling. Steve has a strong work ethic, and an eye for detail. Having owned his own remodeling business in the past, Steve understands the importance of building excellent and strong customer relationships which have helped to guide Retro Pro clients through the process of a successful project.
Project Manager, Nestor
Nestor is a true craftsman at heart. He takes great pride in every project he works on, and treats every customer as he would like to be treated. His specialties include plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, window and door installations, and drywall.
Field Technician, Max
Max came to Retro Pro with a wide array of skills already under his belt. From a young age Max has worked alongside skilled tradesmen including carpenters, electricians, drywallers, painters and plumbers. His exceptional ability to learn new trades and his desire to excel quickly moved him into positions of leadership where he was leading the crews. His knowledge, skills and enthusiasm have been a great asset to Retro Pro.
Administrative Assistant, Heather
Heather is our administrative assistant who handles the front office. Everything from social media, to the website, to our marketing needs. Heather earned her bachelor’s degree at the Art Institute of Phoenix in 2013 where she majored in Photography. Originally Heather is from Chicago but moved out to Phoenix 13 years ago. She now resides in San Tan Valley with her husband, four dogs, three African Spurred Tortoises, and two Nigerian Dwarf goats. Her hobbies are being creative in all activities, camping, and spending time with her animals.
Field Technician, Oscar
Oscar just recently moved to Arizona from Seattle Washington with his girlfriend. Oscar has about 2 years of experience in the industry and include but not limited to tile and granite installation, plumbing, drywall, painting. Oscar’s hobbies include tennis, camping, and snowboarding.
Field Technician, Fernando
Fernando has well over 20 years in the construction industry and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. His quiet determination and his focus help to make him uniquely qualified to solve difficult problems and challenges. He is a valuable asset to the Retro Pro team and we rely on him for his insights, abilities and common sense approach to getting things done right and on time.

This system improves the quality of services produced by the business through the removal of defects and errors. The system involves creating groups of people within the organization who have expert status in various methods, and then each project is carried out according to a set of steps in an effort to create excellence!
Our 4 Steps
The first step in the remodeling process will be an in-home consultation with a design expert who is experienced with both the structural and design aspects of the project. They will listen to you and your ideas, answer any questions and give suggestions on what works best for you and your space. They will also go through the process step-by-step so you know what to expect throughout the process. You will get a rough estimate of the projected costs for your remodel.
After the initial in-home consultation, we will schedule you to come into our showroom for the design planning phase. While here, we will help you design and customize your new kitchen or bathroom by helping you pick out tile, grout, cabinetry, faucets and any other elements needed for your remodel. With our extensive knowledge and experience, we then put everything together to create a design you will love! Once all design elements have been decided on you will get a finalized estimate based on those ideas, and any revisions made from the in-home consultation. At this point, we will ask that you put a deposit down in order to get started on the project.
Let’s Get Started! This is when the demolition and build process will start. Each project has their own project manager and construction team. Nearly all work performed is done in-house, which means everyone that works on our projects are employees of Retro Pro. We have complete control of scheduling and installation times as well as quality assurance. Your project manager will be your direct point of contact throughout the entire remodel project. We will provide exceptional customer service including daily communication with your project manager, complete protection of all your belongings including masking floors, walls, furniture, etc… and maintaining a clean, orderly and safe work environment.
Final Walk through. Once the job has been completed we will conduct a final walk-through to ensure you are 100% satisfied with the end results. We also offer a 3-year warranty, so if anything should need to be fixed within that time-frame we are happy to promptly fix it! This ensures a worry-free experience with our company and your new remodel!
